SmartSorb™ is a patented nano-encapsulation technology that improves the absorption, onset, and bioavailability of active ingredients in oral supplement products. It uses self-assembling lipid nanoparticles made from three GRAS components: water, ethanol, and lecithin, carrying water-soluble and oil-soluble actives in the same particle and releasing them at a controlled rate.
SmartSorb™ has been validated with more than 100 active ingredients, including vitamins (A, C, D, E, B-complex), caffeine and other stimulants, cannabinoids, amino acids, and electrolytes. Our R&D team can run a feasibility assessment for ingredients not yet on that list.
