Standard we work toward

This site is built to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most commonly referenced in U.S. federal and state accessibility expectations, including guidance issued under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What we've built in

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy.
• Descriptive alternative text on images that convey information.
• Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
• A skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Accordion and toggle controls with correct ARIA state (aria-expanded, aria-controls).
• Respect for your operating system's reduced-motion preference. Animation is disabled automatically if you have that setting on.
• Content that remains fully readable if JavaScript fails to load.
• On-page accessibility controls (larger text, high contrast, underlined links) available from the button in the lower-right corner of every page.
• Responsive layout that reflows for zoom and small screens.

Known limitations

This site has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit or assistive-technology user testing. Some images are placeholders pending final photography, and their alternative text will be revised when final assets are in place. We expect to identify and correct further issues as testing proceeds.
