NuVessl, Inc. · Effective September 15, 2026
Who we are
NuVessl, Inc. ("NuVessl," "we," "us") licenses ingredient delivery technology to brands and manufacturers. We have offices in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Tampa Bay, Florida, United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through www.nuvessl.com and related pages (the "site"), and through the business conversations that start there.
Our site is built for businesses. Most of the personal information we receive is business contact information from people who work at brands, manufacturers, and distributors.
The short version
- We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic technical data any website receives.
- We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this site today.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information at any time.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect your first and last name, company name, company website, email address, phone number (optional), the business category you select, and your message. If you book a meeting through our scheduling tool (provided by Cal.com), we collect the name, email, and details you enter there. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time. We use it only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
Our site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. Google's own privacy policy governs that data.
Information we don't collect
We don't ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as health, financial, or government ID information through the site.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't currently use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. The site stores two small preferences in your browser so it works the way you've chosen:
- Your cookie choice (accept or reject), so we don't ask you on every page.
- Your accessibility settings (larger text, high contrast, underlined links), if you turn any on.
This information stays in your browser. It isn't sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
If we add analytics or similar tools in the future, they will only run if you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner, and we will update this policy first. We will also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any such tools.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and hold the conversation you asked for.
- To schedule and prepare for meetings you book.
- To evaluate and carry out a potential business relationship, such as a feasibility assessment or license discussion.
- To send occasional business updates, only where you've agreed to receive them.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations.
We don't use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Consent
By submitting our contact form or booking a meeting, you consent to us using your information to respond to you and follow up on your request. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual limits. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue the conversation or provide what you requested.
Email communications
We send commercial emails only in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. For recipients in Canada, we send commercial messages only with your consent or where the law otherwise permits. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Replies to your own inquiries are not marketing and aren't affected by unsubscribing.
How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, email, and meeting scheduling. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- A successor organization, if NuVessl is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. Your information would remain protected by the terms of this policy.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Where your information is stored
We operate in both Canada and the United States, and some of our service providers store data in the United States or other countries. Information stored outside your home country may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities there. Where we transfer information across borders, we use contractual and other measures to keep it protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. Inquiries that don't lead to a business relationship are generally deleted within 24 months. Information connected to an active or past business relationship is kept for as long as that relationship and related legal obligations require.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our site and restricted access to inquiry records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach involving your personal information creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate regulators as the law requires.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct anything that's inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete it, subject to legal limits.
- Stop using it for marketing, or withdraw your consent.
Residents of Canada
You have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where they apply, provincial laws such as Alberta's and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Acts and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). Quebec residents have additional rights, including rights relating to data portability and to information about automated decisions.
Residents of the United States
Depending on your state, you may have rights under state privacy laws, such as those in California, Virginia, Colorado, and other states, including the right to know, access, correct, and delete your information, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, but we honor access, correction, and deletion requests from all U.S. residents. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Our site may link to other websites, such as event organizers or industry associations. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
