New lab space and a growing R&D team
In March, NuVessl expanded its footprint in the Tampa area by leasing office and R&D space in the new shared laboratory at the USF CONNECT incubator. We also hired a Formulation Scientist II with cross-category product development experience in nutraceuticals, functional beverages, and skincare, strengthening our R&D team.
Accelerator cohorts in Japan
NuVessl was selected for both food and beverage and cosmetics accelerator cohorts with Plug and Play Japan, which concluded in May. During the program, we showcased our delivery platform's answer to ingredient absorption challenges and introduced products ranging from commercially ready to proof-of-concept. This builds on our participation in a U.S. accelerator program throughout 2025.
Building local partnerships
In April, our team took part in mentoring through USF CONNECT, a masterclass with Longview Strategies, and branding and communication webinars hosted by the Small Business Development Center.
As an active member of the local innovation ecosystem, NuVessl joined BioFlorida to connect with other life science companies. Through Hillsborough County Economic Development, we look forward to collaborating with sector-specific CMOs and CDMOs in the county.
